beauty fact or fiction: primers are necessary for long-lasting makeup

Bopha Mom-Baccam - Friday, June 12, 2015

Fiction! Contrary to popular belief, primers are not a must for long-lasting makeup. The truth is, primers are meant for specific functions such as, filling in your pores for smoother looking skin, matting your skin and to delay the production of sebum, which makes your face oily. Similarly, eye primers help to prevent eyeshadow from creasing and to make them wear longer.

So, although primers are there to serve an important function, they are not necessary for their long-lasting makeup reputation.
